Outa here

Well that is it, final day of classes.

I have unfortunately been informed that I flunked the final exam and I will have to come back again next year for a month to prepare for the make up exam… such is life in the tropics, sigh!

Tomorrow early I am on the big bird to Cancun via Mexico City and although I should be able to send and receive emails until it is time to be home (Apr 22), I probably won’t be blogging much as internet access is much more limited in Cuba.

So this could be Adios instead of Hasta Luego, but don’t be shy about sending me a note on email…

  2. Hey, when did Franklin learn to speak Spanish.

BTW I was at my bookclub last night and one pal asked me how I had fared on our holiday. She also called me a trooper. Not the first time that I get coodoes (how do you spell that word) for following you around.

Ola don Tomas y Juanita (it’s kudos, I believe, but then I am an anciano ignorant engineer).
Tom, do not get sucked into the intricacies of the Spanish language, can be very frustrating.

Unless you want to become a professor of the language, that is. I have always found there are many different ways of saying some thing,.
At least that is what I have fooled myself into believing.

Hasta la proxima, buena suerte, amigo(s).

    Greg
